After my graduation I found a job at DAF Trucks
in Eindhoven where I started working as the Quality Engineer of the Engine
Division. Due to the development and introduction of the new MX engine
together with the new XF105 DAF
has replaced all of its machining processes with new ones. A huge investment
which will lead to an ever better and more reliable engine. This makes the
current work environment very dynamic, educational and hectic.
From July to November 2006 I attended Six Sigma Black Belt training for which I was selected in the United States at the PACCAR Peterbilt Truck facilities. After four weeks of training and a project I was proclaimed Six Sigma Tiger. After the Black Belt training I successfully lead several projects on engine field failures that were jeopardizing the DAF brand name. In June 2007 I moved to the DAF Trucks After Sales Department where I started working for the MDI (Managed Dealer Inventory) department. Focusing on the markets Spain and Portugal I can finally make use of my Spanish knowledge in my work. |
